Email & Notifications overview
salon360 sends two distinct families of email, and it's useful to keep them separate in your head — they're configured differently and serve different purposes.
Automated notifications
These are operational emails triggered by activity in the salon — they keep owners and staff informed without anyone having to go looking for the information:
-
Lead alerts — sent when a new lead comes in from a Meta lead ad or a website form fill, plus follow-up reminders when a lead has been sitting untouched. You'll get them when Marketing is turned on for your salon (ask your corporate team) and your own lead email toggle is on in User Management. Tracked calls (CallRail, WhatConverts) show up in your marketing reports but don't send alerts. A lead sends an alert when it arrives within an hour of being sent and isn't from a guest who is already booking with you; those guests still appear in the Lead Manager, without an email.
-
Online booking alerts — sent to the same people, under the same two switches, when a guest books an appointment themselves on your online booking site. The email is labelled Online Booking (or Online Waitlist Request) and shows the guest, service, stylist and appointment time, with a note when it is the guest's first visit. An online booking is not a lead: it never appears as one, and a cancellation does not send an email.
Lead alerts and online booking alerts can also go to the salon's own business email, so the salon inbox gets them even when no staff member has the toggle on. Corporate turns this on per salon in Salon Settings.
-
End-of-day owner summaries — a nightly recap of how the salon performed, measured against the goals set in Settings → Salon Settings → Goals: a pace verdict for the month with what each remaining day must average to hit the goal (the same figure the Sales Dashboard shows the next morning), today's and month-to-date sales, comparisons with last month and last year over the same days, key performance numbers, what's booked for tomorrow and the week ahead, tomorrow's autopays, membership pulse, and anything that needs attention.
Bishops shopsThe shop summary has no membership pulse, Active Members or autopay figures, since Bishops doesn't sell memberships. It adds a Revenue / Stylist Hour row: the services and retail the shop sold, before tax, divided by the hours its stylists were clocked in (the same figure as the Sales Dashboard), compared with your Revenue per stylist hour goal. If no hours were clocked, it shows a dash rather than a zero. See Goals for setting that target.
Frenchies studiosThe average sale reads Average Sale per Ticket. Tomorrow's autopays appear only when there are some scheduled.
-
Service Notes Audit Report — the daily audit of visits missing a service note, broken out by stylist.
Bishops shops and Frenchies studiosThe Service Notes Audit Report, and the service note texts to stylists, are sent at The Lash Lounge salons only.
-
Integration alerts — sent to platform administrators when a connection breaks: a Facebook page loses authorization, a permission is revoked, leads stop flowing. See Meta Lead Ads.
Each of these can be toggled on or off per user and per brand, so people only receive what's relevant to their role — see User Management.
Not everything is email. Feedback alerts and the service note reminders that go to individual stylists are sent as text messages, not email. Their toggles sit alongside the email ones in User Management, labeled (Text).
Who these emails come from
Each type of notification sends from its own address, so you can file, filter, or forward them separately:
| Notification | Sender |
|---|---|
| Lead alerts and lead follow-up reminders | leads@salon360.ai (shown as Leads by DART) |
| End-of-day owner summary | EoD-Summary@salon360.ai |
| Service Notes Audit Report | Formula-Notes-Audit-Report@salon360.ai |
| Integration alerts | alert@salon360.ai |
If notifications are landing in junk, add these addresses to your safe-sender list. They're automated senders, so don't count on a reply reaching a person — take questions about a lead to the Lead Manager.
Transactional emails — password resets, login-related messages, and similar system emails — are sent from dart-noreply@salon360.ai. These are separate from the automated notifications described above.
