End of Day summary: a clearer month-vs-goal section
· 2 min read
The September vs Goal section of the nightly End of Day Owner Summary now says what it means in plain words. The progress bar is unchanged; the row of figures under it has been rewritten.
What changed
- The daily target reads as advice. Under the bar you now see one sentence, such as $1,090 a day keeps you on track for the remaining 24 days, or gets you back on track when the month is behind.
- Two comparisons, each in plain language. Compared with August and Compared with September last year, each showing the percentage and the two figures behind it, for example $8,360 vs $7,611 for the first 6 days. Both sides always cover the same number of days.
- Full-month totals are gone. They sat next to a partial-month figure and invited the wrong comparison. The month's goal is already in the headline.
- Whole dollars throughout this section, and the bar now runs from the first to the last day of the month.
- Booked today is color-coded in the summary strip at the top of the email, green when more appointments were booked than yesterday and red when fewer, the same way the sales figures already are.
