Franchise Management: assign FBCs and FACs to the salons they cover
· 2 min read
Corporate Settings has a new Franchise Management tab where corporate teams manage Franchise Business Coaches (FBCs) and Franchise Area Coaches (FACs) — real people assigned to the groups of salons they cover, replacing the old free-text fields.
What changed
- Two new tools under Settings → Corporate Settings → Franchise Management: FBC Management and FAC Management. Available to all corporate users and platform admins.
- Coaches are people, not text. Pick an FBC from your corporate staff, or an FAC from a salon's staff list (manual entry is available too), then check off the active salons they cover.
- One of each per salon. A salon can have exactly one FBC and one FAC. Assigning a salon that already has a coach shows a confirmation and moves it — coverage can never silently overlap.
- Coverage at a glance. Each coach card shows their salon count and states (e.g. "5 salons · TX, LA"), and each tool flags salons that don't have a coach yet.
- Systemwide Data report updated. The FBC column now comes from these assignments, and the old "FAC Region" column is replaced by FAC — the assigned coach's name.
- The free-text FBC / FAC Region inputs on Admin Salons and Corporate Salon Settings have been removed; existing FBC values were migrated into the new tool automatically.
Why it matters
Coach coverage is now structured data — edited in one place, impossible to misspell per salon, and consistent everywhere it's reported.
