Goals: work backwards from a revenue target
Setting a revenue goal used to leave you to work out the rest yourself. Now the Goals tab does the arithmetic.
Enter a revenue goal and a Recommended targets panel appears, showing what it actually takes to get there: visits per month, appointments per rolling 7 days, and the average sale that produces the number. Each one has a Use button, or Use all to fill the form in one click.
Pick where the growth comes from
Revenue is visits multiplied by average sale, so a revenue target on its own doesn't say which of the two should move. A slider lets you decide: all of it from serving more guests, all of it from a higher ticket, or any split in between. The recommendation always lands exactly on the revenue goal wherever you put it.
It starts at all volume — holding your current average sale and growing visits — since ticket growth usually depends on pricing and service-mix changes that aren't a month-to-month lever.
A capacity check before you commit
Under the numbers, salon360 shows the utilization that visit volume would demand. If a goal would push you past what your schedule can physically hold, it says so plainly — so you find out while you're setting the target, not three weeks into the month.
Measured against the right history
The panel compares against whichever window matches the goal you're stating:
| Revenue goal type | Baseline |
|---|---|
| Flat amount | The last 90 days |
| Month-over-Month % | Last month |
| Year-over-Year % | The same month last year |
Baselines are restated onto the goal month's length, so a 31-day month isn't judged against a 28-day one.
Monthly visits is now a real goal
Target monthly visits joins the list of targets you can save. It uses the same completed-service visit metric as Total Visits, not a count of raw appointment records. Multiple services for the same guest, stylist and day count as one visit, and retail-only activity does not count. It's distinct from the 7-day target: that figure tracks appointments on the books for the week ahead. On the Sales Dashboard's Goals view, Total Visits now paces against the monthly visit target the way month-to-date revenue does — with a Behind pace or On pace read and the per-day rate needed to finish the month.
