Lead Manager: automatic status updates and clearer access

Lead Manager now keeps CRM pipeline status in step with completed visits even while automated customer messages are off, and hides CRM-only controls for brands that do not use CRM.

Status sync no longer depends on automated messages​

For brands with CRM, the status visible in Lead Manager remains Converted after a completed, non-cancelled visit. The background status sync now continues running when automated nurture texts and emails are disabled, so pausing messages no longer freezes visit-based CRM updates.

This does not turn automated messages on. It only keeps the board state current. Existing cards may catch up after the change begins running.

Lead cards now advance automatically as activity happens at the salon:

  • A card moves to Converted after the guest completes a visit, regardless of the salon's point-of-sale system.
  • At Mindbody salons, a card moves to Appointment Booked when the guest books. If that appointment is later cancelled or marked as a no-show, the card moves back out of Appointment Booked.

The first run may update several existing cards at once as earlier bookings and visits are caught up. This changes status only; it does not enable automated texts or emails.

What changed for brands without CRM​

Status reflects where a lead sits in the CRM Lead Board. For brands without the CRM add-on, that pipeline doesn't exist, so Lead Manager was showing controls and fields with nothing meaningful behind them.

For those brands, the following are now hidden:

  • The Status and Step columns, and the Status entry in the Columns picker.
  • The Status filter.
  • The By Status chart — the charts row now shows three cards instead of leaving a gap.
  • Status and nurture-plan fields in the lead detail panel.

The Status column remains included in the CSV export for every brand, whether or not it's shown in the table.

CRM brands keep the same controls​

Brands with the CRM add-on keep the same Status and Step surfaces, and the UI-visible conversion status remains Converted. Any column choices already saved are preserved.
