Channel Breakdown now splits out Organic and Direct
The Marketing dashboard's Channel Breakdown used to collapse everything that wasn't Google Paid or Meta into a single Other row. Now it breaks out two more channels — Organic and Direct — so you can see where your unpaid leads are actually coming from.
What changed
The breakdown now shows up to five rows, in a fixed order:
- Google Paid — your Google Ads leads
- Meta — Facebook / Instagram leads
- Organic — free Google traffic (Google Business Profile, organic search) and other organic sources
- Direct — people who came straight to your site
- Other — everything left over (minor paid sources and leads we couldn't attribute)
Why it helps
Previously, a big Other number was ambiguous — you couldn't tell healthy organic volume apart from leads with missing attribution. Splitting Organic and Direct into their own rows makes that clear: a large Organic row is good news, while a large remaining Other row points to leads whose source we couldn't determine.
Only the two paid rows carry ad spend — Organic, Direct, and Other are always shown at $0 spend, since there's no ad cost behind them. Lead counts, conversions, and revenue are unchanged; the same leads are just grouped more precisely.
Getting in
No action needed — open Marketing → Channel Breakdown and the new rows appear automatically.
