Meta Ads: a clearer funnel, real lead outcomes, and layout fixes
The Meta Ads page gets a clearer funnel, two vendor tiles that never worked replaced with numbers pulled from your own booking and sales records, and a round of layout fixes across the cards below the campaigns table.
Funnel: a share of the step above it
Each step in the funnel now reads as a percentage of the step directly above it — for example, "62.4% of reach." The red drop indicator is gone; every step is smaller than the last by definition, so a red arrow on every row never told you anything.
Occasionally a step is larger than the one above it — this happens because reach is summed day by day rather than counted as unique people across the whole window, so a busy window can show more activity in a later step than reach captured. Previously that showed as a nonsensical negative percentage with a bar that ran off the edge of the card. It now reads as a multiplier instead — "1.93× of landing page views" — with the bar capped at full width, and a note under the funnel explains why this can happen.
A date range with no activity now says "No funnel activity in this window" instead of showing four steps that each look like a 100% drop.
Two tiles replaced with real outcomes
The Conversions and Conversion Value tiles have been removed — they were driven by Meta's own conversion tracking, which isn't set up for most accounts, so they almost always showed "Not tracked" and told you nothing.
In their place, a new Lead Outcomes row shows:
- Converted Clients — how many people who came in through a Meta-sourced lead actually became a client, with the conversion rate underneath.
- Attributed Revenue (Lifetime) — what those converted clients have spent since, with ROAS (return on ad spend) underneath.
Both are measured against your salon's own booking and sales records, the same attribution used elsewhere in Marketing Health, rather than Meta's own conversion tracking. Where there isn't enough information to calculate a number yet, the tile shows a dash with a short reason instead of a 0 or $0.00 — so an unknown result and a genuine zero never look the same.
Layout fixes
A handful of cards on this page had spacing or clipping problems at some window sizes, most noticeably with the sidebar expanded. These are fixed:
- The Platform Mix donut's legend was being cut off entirely at some widths — it's now always fully visible.
- The Device breakdown card's bar and cost-per-lead figures no longer disappear or overlap at narrower widths.
- The Hour of Day heatmap now shows a label under every hour when there's room for them, instead of only every sixth hour.
- The Demographics heatmap now shows the share-of-spend percentage on every cell — it was previously present but invisible on desktop.
- The cards below the campaigns table were reorganized so they no longer overlap or crowd each other at in-between window widths.
We also added keyboard focus outlines to the Breakdowns toggle and the funnel/heatmap controls, and screen-reader labels on the heatmap cells, for anyone navigating the page by keyboard or with assistive tech.
A clearer revenue control across Marketing
The revenue horizon controls in Marketing Health, Google Ads, and Meta Ads are now labeled Include revenue through, with the explanation grouped directly with the choices it describes: the control counts revenue earned from each lead after their first visit. This makes it clearer that the choices change the attributed revenue window — not how much ad spend is included.
