October 15, 2026 release
Membership numbers now agree on every screen: Active Members, Suspended Members, New Members and True Terminations read the same on the Sales Dashboard, the Front Desk Dashboard, Systemwide Data, Monthly Salon Metrics, the Weekly Flash, the End-of-Day email and the Member Report, at The Lash Lounge and at Frenchies. Retention % is shown for new guests and existing guests separately, for the salon and for each stylist, each with its own goal. The Wait List becomes the Clipboard / Wait List, with named lists, call logging and interest lists. The Member Report and the Call Log move into Salon Reports for anyone with reporting access. Bishops shops and Frenchies studios see their Zenoti notes and alerts as POS Notes, and guests who registered at another location of the franchise now appear on the Front Desk Dashboard. Corporate reports include closed locations in the months they were open.
What's in this release
For salons
- The Wait List is now the Clipboard / Wait List (Front Desk Utilities → Clipboard / Wait List). Your wait list types are now lists in a panel on the left, with the same names and the same people. Each person can have the days and times that work and whether they can come on short notice, and Log call records how each call went and moves them to Booked or Closed. Interest lists collect names for a new service, a promo or gift cards, with an optional end date. You can also search every list for a client, close old entries in one step, and export any list to CSV. Salon admins create, edit and archive lists. Switch to legacy view (next to the page title) keeps the earlier page if you prefer it. See Clipboard / Wait List.
- Retention % is now shown for new guests and existing guests separately. The Retention card on the Sales Dashboard gives one figure for guests on their first visit and one for guests who had visited before, so a strong regular base no longer hides how many first-time guests come back. See Retention %.
- Stylist Retention % is split too. The Average Stylist Revenue table (New Retention % and Existing Retention %) and Revenue by Employee (Retention % (New) and Retention % (Existing)) show both for each stylist. Here new means new to the stylist: a salon regular trying a different stylist counts as new for that stylist. See New and existing guests.
- Retention % counts each guest once. On the Retention card and in the stylist Retention % columns, a guest who came in several times in the measured window now counts once, judged from their first visit in it, where each visit used to count separately. Regulars no longer weigh more than occasional guests, so expect the existing-guest figure to read lower. Frenchies studios are unchanged. See Retention %.
- Suspended Members is counted the same way everywhere at The Lash Lounge. Systemwide Data and Monthly Salon Metrics (Reports → Salon Reports → Sales) and the Member Report now count a suspended member by the Sales Dashboard's rule. A pause with an end date counts through that date. A pause with no end date counts for 180 days from the day it began, and after that only while an autopay is scheduled in the following 180 days. A paused membership that has been terminated is not counted, and one that has passed its end date reads Expired rather than Suspended, on the dashboards as well. Expect Suspended Members on those reports to read lower, for past months as well, and Net Member Change to move with it, since it subtracts the members who went on hold in the period. On the Sales Dashboard and Front Desk Dashboard, a pause entered ahead of time now shows the member as suspended on the day it starts. Each member is also counted once: a member with an older membership still on hold who is paying on a newer one is Active, not also Suspended, so Suspended Members on the Sales Dashboard, the Front Desk Dashboard and the End-of-Day email reads lower, and for the current month it is the same number on every one of these screens and reports. When the Sales Dashboard is set to a past month, Suspensions and Membership Change count the members who went on hold that month and were still on hold at its end, the same as Net Member Change in Systemwide Data and Monthly Salon Metrics. For a past month, a member who paid and then went on hold later in the month counts as Suspended, not Active, so Active Members for past months reads lower in Systemwide Data, Monthly Salon Metrics, Weekly Flash, the Gift Card Report's member split and the Sales Dashboard, and Monthly Member Retention % moves slightly with it. See Members & Memberships.
- Active Members counts a member who has given notice until their termination date. At The Lash Lounge, a member with a termination date that hasn't arrived yet is still a member, so they count in Active Members on the Sales Dashboard, the Front Desk Dashboard and the End-of-Day email, and in Systemwide Data, Monthly Salon Metrics (Reports → Salon Reports → Sales), the Weekly Flash and the Member Report, for today and the current month. Expect Active Members to read higher. On the termination date the membership ends and counts as a termination, as before. Future Appointments Per Member, Future Mbr Appts in Systemwide Data, and the Members table and member labels on the Front Desk Dashboard's appointment lists now go by this same Active Members rule, with Suspended and Declined labels following the rules on Members & Memberships.
- Frenchies membership numbers follow one set of rules on every screen. Suspended Members on the Sales Dashboard, the Front Desk Dashboard and the End-of-Day email now counts memberships that are frozen (on hold at the guest's request), and Systemwide Data (Reports → Salon Reports → Sales) shows Suspended for Frenchies studios by the same rule. A freeze counts for 180 days from the day it began, and after that only while a payment is scheduled. A membership suspended for a failed payment is no longer counted as Suspended. Terminations now counts a membership on the day it ends, where it used to count only memberships cancelled while billing was suspended, so expect that figure to read higher. Membership Change is unchanged. Active Members is unchanged and still matches Total Active Member in Zenoti's Business KPI report. The member labels on the Front Desk Dashboard's appointment lists and Future Appointments Per Member go by the same rules. See Members & Memberships.
- The Member Report is in Salon Reports. Member Report has moved from Corporate Reports → Beta to Reports → Salon Reports → Members (Studio Reports at Frenchies). Anyone who can open the other salon reports can run it for their own Lash Lounge salons or Frenchies studios: one row per member, with membership at the start and end of the dates, member services, status, next autopay, lifetime spend, phone and email, and a CSV download. Corporate and admin users can still run it across every location. Bookmarks to the old address open the report in its new place.
- Call Log is in Salon Reports. Call Log is now in Reports → Salon Reports → Staff Performance (Shop Reports at Bishops, Studio Reports at Frenchies), for anyone who can open the other salon reports. Run it for the location selected at the top right to see each day's Call to Rebook, Declined autopay and Wait list call lists, which guests were contacted, and every call, text and email your staff logged, with reach rates by staff member, queue and channel.
- Member Report shows the same member numbers as Systemwide Data and the Sales Dashboard (Member Report, Reports → Salon Reports → Members). The tiles above the table are now Active Members, Suspended, Declined, New Members and True Terminations. For The Lash Lounge, a member is Active the way the Sales Dashboard and Systemwide Data count it, so a run whose dates include today shows their Active Members number, and True Terminations is Systemwide Data's count. In Current Status, a member whose autopay was declined now reads Declined instead of Active, and a member whose membership begins on a later date reads Not Started. When your dates end in a month that has closed, the Active Members and Suspended tiles show that month's numbers, the same as Systemwide Data and the Sales Dashboard, and a Status at End column shows each member's standing at the end of your dates. A member whose membership was within its dates but had no successful autopay that month reads No Autopay This Month there. For Frenchies, each row is now a membership instead of a guest, so Active Members and Suspended equal the Sales Dashboard and Systemwide Data, and a membership suspended for a failed payment has its own Billing Suspended status and tile.
- Revenue by Employee runs when you click Run Report. It no longer runs by itself when the page opens or when you switch salons, so you can set the dates and the retention look-back first.
- Choose the retention look-back on Revenue by Employee. A Retention look-back box, set to 90 days, lets you run the report on a more recent or an older group of guests. The Sales Dashboard stays on 90 days. See Retention look-back.
- Revenue by Employee can cover several locations in one run. If you have access to more than one location, a Locations list in the filters lets you tick the ones you want, or all of them. The table shows one row per team member per location, with the location's name in the first column and in the CSV. With one location ticked the report is unchanged. See Several locations at once.
- Revenue by Employee no longer shows a totals row at the bottom of the table. The card above the table still shows the salon's figure; export the CSV to add up any column.
- Two retention goals. The Goals page has a Retention % target for new guests and one for existing guests, and the Goals Report Card grades each on its own row. A Retention % target you had already set carries over to both; review them, since the two figures usually sit far apart.
- Rebooking % sits on the Utilization card, now titled Utilization & Rebooking. The figure and its goal are the same.
- Formula notes are now called service notes. The Missing Service Notes section on the Sales Dashboard, the Service Notes Audit Report email, the text reminders to stylists and the settings that control them all use the new name. Nothing else about them changed.
- POS Notes for Bishops shops and Frenchies studios. POS Notes on the Front Desk Dashboard, in Today's Appointments and Call to Rebook, now shows what your team typed in Zenoti: the note on the booking, the alerts set on the guest and the notes on the guest's profile. Notes marked private in Zenoti are included. Call to Rebook campaigns that use note tags now read these notes too. See Front Desk Dashboard.
- Adding a note tag to a Call to Rebook campaign is clearer. The Note tags field has a + Add tag button, and a tag you've typed is kept when you move to another field or click Save changes. Before, a tag was added only by pressing Enter. See Note tags.
- Service note settings on a user only show when service notes are on. Service Note Notification (Text) and Service Note Summary (Email) appear on Add Staff and Edit Staff only for a salon that has service notes turned on (Managing users).
For corporate teams
-
Systemwide Data no longer shows the four summary cards above the table or the totals row at the bottom. The table is one row per salon; export the CSV to add up any column.
-
Opening date in Salon Settings. Corporate admins can see and edit each salon's Opening date in Settings → Corporate Settings → Franchise Management → Salon Settings. Reports that show a salon's open date read it from here. See Salon Settings.
-
Lash Lounge Weekly Flash Leaderboard no longer shows a totals row at the bottom of the table. The cards above the table still show the system totals.
-
Franchise Performance quick fixes (Franchise Performance). The detail table shows Budget and Var $ in whole dollars, Var % with a plus or minus sign in green or red, and a new column order: Collections, YoY %, YTD %, MoM %, Var %, Budget, Var $, LTM collections. The Franchise system column is hidden once you pick a single system. The four ranked lists are now two cards behind a Winners | Losers switch (it opens on Losers): Lowest YTD growth with Biggest shortfall to budget, or the new Highest YTD growth with Biggest beat on budget. Everything on those cards is year to date, the budget cards now rank on the year-to-date budget instead of the month, and the top-by-LTM list is gone (the table still sorts by LTM collections). Each card shows only rows that match its title, leaves out salons with no collections in the period, and shows the real count when fewer than 20 qualify. Select a row to find it in the detail table. Growth that rounds to zero reads 0.0% instead of -0.0%, a very large growth figure no longer runs into the Locations count on a system card, the Rank switch is now View by, the unfinished Net locations tile is gone, and on a phone the Basis toggle fits the screen and the first column leaves room for the numbers. The page now says Locations and Owners throughout (the View by switch reads Locations | Owners) and Not producing replaces Closed for a location with no day of positive collections in the last 30 days. In the detail table the owner and franchise system now sit as a small caption under each location name in the first column (under each owner's name in the Owners view), together with the open arrow, so the table needs little sideways scrolling; the export keeps Location, Owner and Franchise system as separate columns. The ranked cards are titled by the measure alone (Lowest YTD growth, Highest YTD growth, Biggest shortfall to budget, YTD, Biggest beat on budget, YTD), the budget cards leave out Not producing rows instead of rows with no collections, and the shortfall card adds a line totalling what those rows missed against budget; select it to see them in the table. In a window narrower than 1,280 pixels the table leaves out LTM collections and the Trend line so it fits; both remain in the opened row and the export. Negative dollar amounts use the same minus sign as percentages.
For platform admins
Fixes
- Front Desk Dashboard lists guests who registered at another location. At Bishops shops and Frenchies studios, a guest whose profile was created at a different location of the franchise was left off Today's Appointments, Call to Rebook and Duplicate Appointments, and showed with no name or phone in Declined Autopays. They now appear with their name and phone, and a team member booked as a guest shows by name too. Where texting is on, Text in Call to Rebook works for them as well. A guest who opted out of marketing texts in Zenoti at one location is not sent automatic rebook texts by another. See Front Desk Dashboard (Front Desk Utilities → Front Desk Dashboard).
- Leads, texts and feedback recognise guests who registered at another location. At Bishops shops and Frenchies studios, a guest who books with you but created their profile at a different location of the franchise is now matched like any other guest of yours: a new enquiry from them links to their profile and to the money they spend with you, a text from them shows under their name, they come up when you search for someone to message, and guest feedback entered under their name lists the services they booked with you. A guest of another location who has never booked with you is still treated as new.
- Revenue by Employee CSV: empty Retention % cells are blank. A stylist with no figure used to get a dash in the file, which made a spreadsheet read the column as text. The screen still shows the dash.
- Systemwide Data shows closed salons in the months they were open. A run for a past date range now includes a salon that has since closed, as long as it had collections in that range, so earlier months show the full system again. A closed salon stays out of any range after its last day of collections. See Systemwide Data.
- Roll Up Sales lists every active location. Roll Up Sales (Reports → Corporate Reports → Finance) now shows an active location with no sales in the date range as a
$0.00row instead of leaving it off, and shows a closed location only in ranges it had sales in, the same rule as Systemwide Data. Totals are unchanged. - Budget vs Actual no longer goes blank because of a closed salon. On Budget vs Actual, a salon that had stopped trading used to hold back the date the whole report ran through, which blanked later months on the Actual view, and its own budget stopped counting at its last day of sales. The date now comes from the salons still trading, and a closed salon's budget counts through the month you chose. Closed salons with no sales and no budget in the period are no longer listed.
- Collections by Month shows closed locations in the years they were open. Collections by Month (Reports → Corporate Reports → Beta) listed only locations that are active today. A location that has closed now appears in each year it had collections, so a past year's Total row is the whole system's.
- Weekly PE Summary ignores sales dated after today. A sale entered with a future date could push the day Weekly PE Summary (Reports → Corporate Reports → Finance) measured budget to past today. Those sales are now left out until their date arrives.
- Member Report and Systemwide Data finish sooner. Member Report (Reports → Salon Reports → Members) and Systemwide Data (Reports → Salon Reports → Sales) read only the members and guests they report, so a run across every location, or a full year, comes back sooner. The figures are unchanged.
