Reports are now switched on for every Lash Lounge location
Reports had been enabled for a small pilot group of locations while the numbers were being validated. That gate is now open for every active The Lash Lounge location — so if you were told Reports were live and couldn't find them in your menu, this is why.
What changed
Two things had to line up before Reports appeared in your sidebar: your location needed Reports switched on, and you needed the right permissions. Until now the first of those was only true for a handful of pilot locations, so most owners and managers saw no Reports section at all — no matter what permissions they gave themselves.
The location-level switch is now on everywhere across The Lash Lounge. Bishops Cuts / Color and Frenchies are unchanged.
What you need to see Reports
Access hasn't changed — but it's worth stating plainly, because the most common support question this week was from people who had set one half of it and expected the menu to appear.
| To open | You need |
|---|---|
| DART Reports | Reporting portal access and Studio admin access, both on the same location — plus that location having Reports enabled (now the case everywhere). Corporate and admin users have this automatically. |
| Corporate Reports | Corporate or admin access. Reporting access on its own doesn't open this area. |
The part that catches people out: the two permissions have to be held together, on the same location. Reporting portal access by itself doesn't put Reports on the menu. If you hold reporting access at one location and studio admin at a different one, neither location will show it.
If you previously had reporting access and it's gone
Some accounts held Reporting portal access without Studio admin access. On its own that combination didn't open anything usable, so those permissions were cleared rather than left in place looking like they did something.
Nothing was taken away that was working. If you need Reports, ask your owner or studio admin to grant both permissions together on your location — see Editing permissions.
Two things to expect
You may need to sign out and back in. Permissions and menu items are read when you sign in, so a change made while you're already signed in won't appear until your next sign-in. If you use DART as an installed app rather than in a browser, quit the app fully and reopen it — signing out in your browser won't refresh the app.
Draft Reports isn't for salon accounts. You may see a Draft Reports entry under Reports. That's the internal library where reports are built and checked before release, and it's restricted to platform staff — opening it will tell you that you don't have access. Your reports live under DART Reports.
Where to start
Package Performance and Franchise CCR are both available under DART Reports today. The Reports overview lists every report in the platform and which area it lives in.
