Reports, reorganized

Reports is easier to navigate, two reports graduate out of internal testing, and access is decided the same way everywhere.

Update — September 2026

Two things on this page have since changed. DART Reports is now called Legacy Reports, and it no longer requires salon-admin rights: reporting access on its own opens it, at any location that has Reports enabled. See Legacy Reports for the current rule.

New: DART Reports

Package Performance and Franchise CCR now live in a new DART Reports area, alongside Draft Reports and Corporate Reports. Both reports are unchanged — same filters, same numbers, same exports — they just have a new home in the sidebar, and have been retired from Draft Reports now that the move is complete.

The reason for the move is access. Corporate Reports is limited to corporate and admin users; DART Reports also opens to location staff who have reporting access, so location leadership can pull these numbers without a corporate login. (At the time of this post you also needed salon-admin rights on the same location; that requirement was removed in September 2026.)

What you see is scoped to what you have access to. Corporate and admin users get the whole franchise system, exactly as before. A location user gets their own location(s) — the Franchise CCR location picker lists only their salons, and Package Performance (summary and Detail alike) totals only their salons.

If you had a Corporate Reports link bookmarked for either report, update it — the report now opens under Reports → DART Reports.

Corporate Reports is now organized into sections

Corporate Reports used to be one long grid of report cards. It's now organized into sections you pick from a list on the left — Favorites, Finance, Marketing, General, and Beta — so you see one section at a time instead of scrolling the whole catalogue. Everything about running a report (date range, filters, Run Report, CSV export) works exactly as before; only the way you get to a report has changed. The section you're viewing is part of the page address, so you can bookmark a section or share a direct link to it with your team.

Click the star on any report to pin it to Favorites. Favorites are saved to your account, so they show up the same way no matter which device or computer you log in from. Starring a report doesn't move it — it also stays in its original section.

Which sections appear depends on your access and franchise system — a section with nothing available to you simply doesn't show up. If a report you used to reach from the main grid isn't where you expect, check the other sections — it's most likely under Finance or Beta.

The current Beta lineup includes Systemwide Data, Franchise Performance, Weekly PE Summary, and Revenue by Employee. Systemwide (All Systems) is now named Systemwide (Legacy) and remains in Draft Reports while validation continues. Franchisee Prospects has completed validation and now lives in Corporate Reports under Marketing, without a Beta label.

Roll Up Sales Report and Cross-Center Redemptions now live under Finance, alongside any other reconciled, source-of-truth reporting we add going forward.

Franchisee Prospects and Revenue by Employee are now in Corporate Reports

Franchisee Prospects — the franchise-referral mailing list of marketing-opted-in guests who spent in the window — has graduated from internal testing to Corporate Reports, available to corporate and admin users whose access includes The Lash Lounge.

Revenue by Employee — the per-person sales report that counts everyone, including front-desk team members who sold retail without performing a service — is also out of internal testing and into Corporate Reports. It runs one location at a time, following the location switcher in the top right. Nothing about the numbers has changed; it's the same report, in a place corporate teams can reach.

Corporate CCR is now Cross-Center Redemptions

The internal Corporate CCR report has been retired. Its replacement, Cross-Center Redemptions, has been in Corporate Reports since it was released — same Ins, Outs, royalty and NAF netting, plus a Franchise System column so systems beyond The Lash Lounge appear where they sell memberships. Running both side by side was the point while the released version was being validated; it's validated, so there's one report now.

Secret Reports is now Draft Reports

The Secret Reports area has been renamed Draft Reports. Nothing moved and nothing changed hands — same reports, same access. The old name suggested a level of restriction, when what the area actually is is the staging ground where a report gets built and checked before it's promoted to Corporate or DART Reports. The new name says that.

Revenue Reports is on hold

The Revenue Reports entry has been removed from the sidebar for now. It was an empty shell — no reports had shipped into it yet — and it will return when there's real revenue reporting to put there. Nothing you were using has gone away.

Clearer toolbars and table headers on branded palettes

The date presets, filter labels, and column headers on every report sit on a lightly tinted panel that takes its color from your brand. For most brands that tint is barely there — but on a brand with a deeply saturated color, the panel was strong enough to wash out the text and outlines sitting on top of it, leaving the date buttons hard to pick out. The panel now renders as a soft tint of the same brand color rather than at full strength, so the text and outlines read clearly while the panel keeps its brand character. Nothing moved, and no colors changed. This applies everywhere reports appear: Corporate Reports, DART Reports, and Draft Reports.

Who can see what, tightened

Access to Reports is now decided the same way everywhere, and a few gaps have been closed. Most people will notice nothing. The exceptions below take access away from some people — read carefully if reports are part of your day-to-day.

  • Corporate Reports now requires corporate or admin access, as the name suggests. Previously anyone with reporting access could open it, including location-level staff who had reporting turned on. If you have reporting access but no corporate role, use DART Reports instead — it holds the systemwide roll-ups and is built for location leadership, scoped to the locations you have access to.
  • Reports now respect your location's Reports setting. If a location has Reports switched off in its settings, its staff no longer reach report pages — previously the setting hid the menu without closing the pages behind it. Corporate and admin users are unaffected: they see reports regardless of any individual location's setting.
  • A report you can't see is no longer reachable by link. Reports limited to a particular franchise system only ever appeared for users of that system; now that limit also applies when a report is opened directly by URL, not just when the page lists it. If you had a bookmark to a report outside your system, it will stop working — it was never meant to be available to you.
  • Draft Reports is now platform-admin only. The internal staging area is limited to platform administrators. It holds reports whose numbers are still being validated, so it's deliberately the narrowest surface in the product. Nothing that had graduated out of it is affected — those reports live in Corporate Reports and DART Reports, unchanged.
