September 7, 2026 release

salon360 Team

This release rebuilds the nightly End of Day Owner Summary around the goals you already set, turns the utilization goal into a min and max so a fully booked salon is not graded as a win, lets your location add its own services to a corporate Call to Rebook campaign, and fixes the Forgot Password dead end for people who never finished setting up their account. Corporate teams get a more accurate suspended-member count, three new reports in validation, and two fixes to budget import. Nothing needs to be turned on.

The End of Day Owner Summary now reads against your goals

Every Mindbody salon's nightly summary email has a new layout. It is shorter, and every number is measured against the goals you set in Settings → Salon Settings → Goals.

  • A pace verdict up top. The email opens with one line: On pace, Behind pace, or Goal met for the month.
  • Progress bars on Today and Month-to-date sales, with the day's target and the amount you still need per day to hit goal.
  • Two comparisons, not one. Sales are shown against last month and against the same month last year, in dollars and percent.
  • KPIs graded against your targets. Average sale per visit (with the service and retail split), Retail %, Utilization and Rebooking % each show where you stand, not just the number. They now use the same definitions as the Sales Dashboard, so the email and the dashboard agree.
  • Tomorrow and the week ahead. A Tomorrow strip shows appointments on the books, autopays due to bill and tomorrow's target, followed by Booked Ahead for the next seven days, including how many of those were booked today.
  • Membership Pulse (active members, suspended members, autopays left this month) and Today's Top Performers.
  • Needs Attention triages what to look at first: new complaints, missing formula notes and booking shortfalls, each linking straight into the dashboard.
  • On the 1st of the month, the summary shows last month's final figures instead of an empty new month.

Salons that have not set goals still get the new layout, without the goal bars. Recipients do not change: anyone already receiving the summary keeps receiving it. Zenoti salons keep the current email for now.

Utilization goals are now a range

Utilization was the one goal where beating the number was not necessarily good news. At 50% stylists sit idle; at 90% you have no availability left and are turning guests away. One target could not say both.

Settings → Salon Settings → Goals now has a Utilization range with a Min and a Max (for example 50 and 82). Your existing target is kept as the min, so nothing changes until you add a max. Either box can be left blank.

Everywhere the goal is judged now grades both ends:

  • Sales Dashboard → Goals mode: the Utilization tile reads 50.0%–82.0% range with In range, Below target or Over capacity.
  • Goal Attainment report: a closed month above the max is marked ▲ Above range rather than ✓ Met, and counts as a miss.
  • End of Day Owner Summary: the Utilization card says In range, N pts short, or N pts over · turning business away.
  • Recommended targets: if a revenue goal would push utilization past your max, the capacity check says so before you apply it.

See Salon goals and Goal Attainment.

Call to Rebook: add your own services to a corporate campaign

Corporate campaigns used to let a salon change one thing: the day window. If your location sells a service the template does not list, the only way to catch those guests was a separate custom campaign.

In Settings → Salon Settings → Call to Rebook, Customize on a corporate campaign now shows an Additional service types picker. Pick any of your location's service groups or individual appointment types, and guests who had those services in the campaign's window are highlighted on the Front Desk alongside the template's own. Automated rebook texts on that campaign use the same widened list.

Two rules keep this safe: additions only ever widen a campaign (the template's services always stay included, listed under Template always includes), and additions are yours alone. Clear additions returns the campaign to exactly the corporate setup. The picker appears when your franchise has allowed it; it is on for The Lash Lounge templates.

See Call to Rebook.

Forgot Password works for accounts that never finished setup

If you were invited but never completed your first sign-in, Forgot Password used to send you a temporary password while the screen asked for a verification code, which was always rejected. It now recognises these accounts, tells you a temporary password was emailed, and points you back to the sign-in page, where you will be prompted to choose your own password. Accounts that have signed in before are unaffected and still receive a reset code.

The verification-code screen also gained a hint for anyone holding an older email: Received a temporary password instead of a code? Sign in with it. Admins resetting a password from staff settings now see which kind of email was sent.

Membership counts: a more accurate "suspended"

A paused membership now counts as Suspended only while the pause is live: it has an end date, the point of sale is still scheduling autopay for it, or it began in the last 180 days. A pause opened long ago and never closed counts as an expired membership instead. This moves Suspended and Active member counts slightly on the Sales Dashboard, the Front Desk and the Systemwide report, and it is the definition the new reports below use. See Members.

Frenchies: Average Sales matches Nail It

For Frenchies studios, the Average Sales report and dashboard now match Nail It's own staff figures for a closed period. The staff list shows only team members who provide services, the way Nail It's own report does, and revenue per hour is measured on serviced hours, which is Nail It's basis.

New reports in validation (platform admins only for now)

Three reports are available in Draft Reports while their numbers are validated. They are for The Lash Lounge (Mindbody) locations and are not yet visible to salon or corporate users; each will be announced here when it opens up.

  • Monthly Salon Metrics — one salon's calendar year on a single grid: revenue split into membership, non-member service and retail, last year and year-over-year, new clients and starter full sets, members and retention, visitors, retail share, revenue per stylist hour and per bed. Every quarter expands to its months and every month to its days.
  • Gift Card Report — each salon's gift card revenue against total revenue for a date range, with purchases, member vs non-member split and redemptions (tracked separately from the sale so nothing is double counted), plus interactive breakdowns by item, member status and date.
  • Lifetime Value of Member — every client's whole relationship with the salon, rolled up into the number that matters most: how much more a member is worth than a non-member, by first-visit year, spend band, membership status and recency, with a full export.

For corporate teams

  • Franchise Performance has moved out of Corporate Reports → Beta and back into Draft Reports while platform admins finish validating it; it now shows budget variance on every system as well as the combined view. Corporate bookmarks land on Draft Reports.
  • Budget import no longer crashes on preview. The review step shows one row per location and month, with coverage and unchanged rows called out, before you click Apply.
  • Franchise ID on Corporate Salon Settings now shows the format the budget importer matches on (for example TLL476, BCC031, FMN001), tidies the value when you save, and warns about a value that can never match a budget row.
  • Bishops Cuts / Color budgets are now keyed to each location the same way the salon list is, so per-location budget lines up in Budget vs Actual and Franchise Performance.
