Service groups are now yours to manage

Corporate admins can now create and manage service groups directly, without a platform request.

Where it lives

Service groups now have their own tool on Settings → Corporate Settings → Franchise Management, alongside FBC Management, FAC Management, and System Budget. A service group is a named bucket of appointment types — like an "Extension Services" group covering every extension-related appointment type — that Call to Rebook campaigns use for targeting. A group applies to every salon in the franchise system, so a campaign can target a whole service line at once instead of picking individual appointment types one by one. Any corporate team member can open the tool to view the groups; creating, editing, or removing one still requires corporate admin access.

Some groups are locked

A few groups are managed by the platform team and show a Locked badge — they also drive rebooking alerts and duplicate-appointment checks, so their name and contents can't be changed from this tool. You can still view what's in them; contact support if a locked group needs to change.

Turn the duplicate check off for a single group

Corporate admins can now decide, group by group, whether two different services from the same group count as a duplicate on the Front Desk's Duplicate Appointments list. Useful when a group deliberately bundles services a guest books together on purpose. Booking the same service twice is still flagged either way, and campaign targeting is unaffected — this only changes the duplicate-appointment check. The setting is editable even on locked groups, alongside their (otherwise fixed) name and contents.

Rolling out by booking system

Availability is rolling out by booking system. If your location isn't supported yet, the tool explains that — there's nothing for you to do, and it turns on automatically once your system is ready.

Nothing about your existing campaigns changes — this just gives corporate admins a direct way to manage the groups those campaigns already use.

Salons can build their own groups too

Below the campaigns table on Settings → Salon Settings → Call to Rebook, each location now has its own Service groups section.

Groups from your corporate team appear there too, read-only — they apply to every location in the system, so their name and contents can't be changed from a salon's seat. Groups a location creates for itself are private to that location and available to its campaigns right away. Rename one of your own groups and any campaigns using it stay connected automatically — no need to re-pick the group afterward.

The appointment-type list a location picks from is its own menu, not the whole system's — so a group only offers types that location actually books.

Availability is rolling out by booking system, same as above: if a location's booking system isn't supported yet, the tool explains that and there's nothing to do — it turns on automatically once the system is ready.

Nothing about existing campaigns or front-desk checks changes for any salon.
