Systemwide Visits and Unique Visitors were over-counted for salons on Zenoti

On the corporate Systemwide report, Visits and Unique Visitors for salons on Zenoti (Frenchies, Bishops) were counting appointments that never should have counted — cancelled, no-showed, still just scheduled, or checked in but never completed — and separately counting each add-on service on an appointment as if it were its own visit. MBO salons were already correct, so the report disagreed with itself depending on which vendor a salon ran.

Who this affects, and by how much

Salons on Zenoti, on the Systemwide report only. In testing, across one full month at three salons:

SalonVisits over-statedUnique Visitors over-stated
A+112%+10%
B+21%+8%
C+25%+8%

Roughly half of the Visits over-count came from add-on services being counted as separate visits alongside the appointment they were booked on. The rest came from appointments that never actually completed — cancelled, no-showed, or still open. Unique Visitors was affected almost entirely by that second group: a guest with an add-on that day almost always had a completed primary service too, so double-counting the add-on rarely changed whether that guest counted as a unique visitor — it just inflated the visit count.

Two numbers that read differently as a result

Visits is the denominator of Avg Visit Price, and Unique Visitors is the denominator of Retail Purchase %. When a denominator was too high, the result was too low — so as the counts come down to the correct level, Avg Visit Price and Retail Purchase % both go up for affected salons. If you see either of those climb with this change, that's why — it isn't a separate issue.

Where you'll see it

Systemwide (All Systems), now Systemwide (Legacy) — Draft Reports onlyVisits and Unique Visitors drop for salons on Zenoti; Avg Visit Price and Retail Purchase % rise for the same salons; the KPI cards above the table reflect the corrected totals once run. This all-systems version now remains in Draft while validation continues.
Systemwide Data — Corporate Reports (Beta)No visible change — this version covers The Lash Lounge locations only, which were already counted correctly. It is now the Systemwide version available to eligible corporate and admin users.

Nothing changes for MBO salons — their Visits and Unique Visitors were already counted correctly.

This brings the report into line with the published definition

What counts as a visit already documents the correct rule for Zenoti: only the appointment's primary service counts, and it has to have actually been completed. The Systemwide report was disagreeing with its own published definition; this correction brings it in line.
