Front Desk: the new Wait List
The Wait List gives your front desk one shared, live view of everyone waiting at your location — in the order they arrived. No more paper lists or guessing who's next.
Everyone waiting, in order
Open Front Desk Utilities → Wait List and you'll see every waiting client with an arrival number (#1 has been waiting longest), what they're waiting for, when they arrived, and their status. The whole desk sees the same list, so nobody gets skipped.
Click + Add to Wait List to add a walk-in — just a name and a type to start; phone and notes are optional.
Sort however you like
Click any column header to sort the table — by name, type, arrival time, or status. Sorting only changes your view; each client's arrival number stays put, so the real queue order is never lost.
Resolve in one click
Click a client's row to open it. From there you can edit their details, or close them out:
- Mark Completed — they were seen and taken care of.
- Mark Cancelled — they left or decided not to wait.
Resolved clients drop off the live list but stay in your history. Use the Status filter (All / Waiting / Completed / Cancelled) and the date range to look anything up later.
Manage your own types
Studio admins can set up the categories clients wait for — Walk-in, Waiting for Amanda, and so on — under Manage Wait List Types. A type can be removed once no one is waiting under it, so you can't accidentally strand a waiting client.
