Weekly PE Summary now counts the same way as Franchise Performance

The Weekly PE Summary report now follows the same counting and budget rules as the Franchise Performance dashboard, so the two agree for the same franchise system and date range.

What changed in Weekly PE Summary

  • Every salon is counted once, under its own booking system. A salon that appears in two booking-system feeds is no longer double-counted, and revenue for a location that has no roster entry yet is kept (labelled by its brand code) instead of silently dropped.
  • Budget cells go blank when a range is only partly budgeted. Previously the Prorated view showed whatever budget existed for the range, which could make a half-budgeted week look beaten. Now, like Franchise Performance, a system's Budget is blank unless every day of the range has a budget, and the banner names the system.
  • All Systems budget totals cover the systems that have a budget, measured against those systems' own sales, instead of disappearing whenever one system had no budget. The banner says which systems are left out. Current and Prior sales totals still include every system.
  • Percentages are blank when there is nothing to measure against. A prior-year or budget figure of zero now leaves the variance percent blank instead of printing 0.0%.
  • Totals are rounded once, after summing, so system totals no longer drift by a few cents from Franchise Performance.
  • A hint on the Current Period Sales card explains the one remaining difference: this report counts every posted sale through the end of the range, while Franchise Performance stops each system at the last day its data is confirmed complete.

What did not change

  • The sales definition, the prior-year comparison (same calendar dates one year earlier), the Pace basis, the As of pin, and the Excel download all work as before.
  • Franchise Performance itself is unchanged; the shared rules were adopted from it.
