Call to Rebook: the list for Zenoti salons was returning a fraction of who it should

At salons on Zenoti (Frenchies, Bishops), the Call to Rebook call list on the Front Desk (for example, Extensions to Rebook) was checking the wrong appointment state to decide who still needed a call. It was leaving most of the eligible clients off the list.

Who this affects, and by how much

Salons on Zenoti. MBO salons were not affected — they were already reading the right appointment state.

In testing, over 30 days: the list held 64 clients where it should have held 1,299. At one salon it was completely empty on 18 of the 30 days; at another, 21 of the 30 days. Staff were working from a list that looked short because it was short — not because there was nothing to do.

A second, related issue is also fixed: if a client's next appointment had already been closed out in Zenoti, the system stopped recognizing it as a booking on the calendar. Instead of leaving that client alone, the call list added them back in — so staff were calling people who'd already rebooked.

Nobody did anything wrong. The call list was built from the wrong signal, so it under-reported who needed a call, and occasionally re-added someone who didn't.

Where you'll see it

On the Front Desk Dashboard, in the Call to Rebook column — Extensions to Rebook and the other rebook call lists. The list holds far more clients than before; this is the correct size, not a spike.

Your rebook list is about to get much longer

If your salon runs on Zenoti, expect your Call to Rebook list to jump the day this ships — in some cases by a wide margin. That's the list correcting itself, not a new problem. It was under-filled before; it isn't over-filled now.

A client who'd already rebooked and was mistakenly showing up again should also stop appearing — one less repeat call for someone who didn't need it.
